Shahadat e Hussain by Abul Kalam Azad

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is the author of the book Shahadat e Hussain. The book is about the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Hussain and its impact. This incident happened on the 10th of Muharram Ul Haram’s 61st year of Hijrah in Karbala.

Hazrat Imam Hussain R.A was the son of Hazrat Ali A.S, and Syeda Fatima R.A. He was the grandson of the Prophet of Islam.

He raised his voice against the rule of Yazeed Bin Muaviah. Yazeed was a cruel ruler who captured the throne by power. Hazrat Imam Hussain was going to Kufa on the invitation of Iraqis.

When they went to Karbala, the Yazeedi forces sieged the caravan of Imam. After a short battle, Hazrat Imam Hussain embraced Shahadat along with his family members and companions. The book also discussed the political scenario of that time.

Abul Kalam Azad described the whole conspiracies that here made against the grandson of Rasool Allah SAW. He was the son of Hazrat Ali R.A, who is known as Maula Kainat.
